Position Overview

Opti Mind Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated Remote Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our compassionate team in Chino, California. Work Environment

This is a remote position, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy and counseling sessions from the comfort of your home. Our team utilizes cutting-edge electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain confidentiality and facilitate effective communication. You will engage in virtual sessions with clients, leveraging reliable high-speed internet and adhering to HIPAA compliance standards. As a part of our collaborative team, you will participate in regular clinical meetings to discuss patient progress and share best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy through virtual platforms to meet clients' mental health needs effectively.
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention services and offer comprehensive case management and advocacy for clients navigating complex health care systems.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client interactions in the EHR system to ensure continuity of care and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize client treatment outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development sessions and clinical case reviews to continually refine skills and enhance service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and California state licensing regulations, safeguarding all patient information effectively.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will be serving include individuals experiencing mental health challenges related to terminal illness, grief, and other life transitions. Our client base values the importance of compassionate, supportive care, and you will play a vital role in helping them gain coping strategies and emotional support as they face unique difficulties during what can be a challenging period in their lives.

Qualifications
  • Active LCSW license in the state of California.
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is required.
  • Strong proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-focused therapy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Experience with EHR systems and a strong aptitude for clinical documentation processes.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing telehealth services is preferred, especially in a remote or virtual environment.
  • Strong technical skills to facilitate smooth virtual therapy sessions.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards within the mental health field, particularly regarding patient confidentiality and ethical practices.

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
