About Care Behavioral Concepts

Care Behavioral Concepts is a small, focused ABA provider dedicated to helping individuals with autism and developmental disabilities achieve meaningful growth. We believe exceptional care begins with an empowered and supported team. Position Summary

As a Behavior Technician (BT), you will provide in-home and community-based ABA therapy to children, adolescents and adults, helping them build essential skills and reduce challenging behaviors using evidence-based strategies. You’ll implement individualized treatment plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), collect behavior and skill acquisition data, and contribute meaningfully to each client’s progress.

Schedule Requirements

  • Must be available Monday to Friday between 2:00 P.M. and 8:30 P.M.
  • Saturdays and Sundays between 8:00am and 3:00pm preferred but not required
  • Must commit to a minimum of 10 hours during the work week (i.e. not including weekends)

These hours reflect the peak need for client services — consistency and reliability during this time block are essential for client progress and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in the home, school, or community settings
  • Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the BCBA
  • Accurately record and report session data using electronic data collection tools
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions
  • Maintain regular communication with supervisors regarding client progress in team meetings and trainings
  • Build rapport and create fun, engaging session environment
  • Uphold HIPAA’s ethical and professional standards at all times

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Human Services, or a related field is highly preferred
  • Candidates with relevant experience in ABA or working with individuals with developmental disabilities highly preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance
  • Ability to travel to and from client homes and/or community settings (drive time included)
  • Must complete all onboarding steps and attend a paid initial training period
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Must obtain criminal background clearance (reimbursement provided)
  • Must provide proof of a negative TB test

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to engage in physical activity with children, including sitting on the floor, kneeling, standing for extended periods, and moving quickly as needed to support client safety
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs occasionally
  • Comfort working in home environments that may vary in setup, noise level, and distractions
