Job description

Our BDR team is the first voice many of those organizations ever hear from us, and the BDR Manager is the person who makes that team exceptional. This is a leadership role for someone who has built and coached high-performing BDR teams, knows how to design outbound strategy that actually converts, and is motivated as much by developing people as by hitting pipeline numbers. You will shape how we prospect, how we message, and how we hand off, and you will do it in close partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. If you are energized by the craft of outbound selling, the discipline of building repeatable process, and the satisfaction of watching a team grow, this role is worth a close look.

What you will do

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of BDRs to consistently achieve and exceed pipeline targets, building a collaborative, high-energy culture where people hold each other to a high standard and celebrate each other's wins.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship, structured performance feedback, and skill development so every rep on the team is getting better, not just busier.
  • Model a consultative, insight-led approach to outbound prospecting, particularly in the healthcare compliance space, so the team leads with the right frame from the first conversation.

Strategy Development

  • Design and execute a BDR strategy that drives consistent lead generation and pipeline growth across our target market of healthcare providers and vendors.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Marketing to keep BDR outreach tightly aligned with go-to-market objectives, messaging, and campaign calendars.
  • Test and iterate on outreach channels, sequences, and tactics to improve reach and conversion over time.

Process Optimization

  • Continuously refine BDR workflows from prospecting and sequencing through to handoff, so the team operates efficiently and the prospect experience is seamless.
  • Establish clear, trackable KPIs that give the team real-time visibility into performance and give leadership confidence in pipeline contribution.
  • Leverage HubSpot and other tools to streamline operations, maintain data quality, and keep activity and pipeline metrics current and accurate.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and a consistent prospect experience from first touch to close.
  • Serve as the voice of the BDR team in broader go-to-market conversations, bringing field insights back to the table so strategy and messaging reflect what is actually happening in outreach.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Produce regular reports on BDR performance, pipeline contribution, and team metrics, and translate that data into clear recommendations rather than just numbers on a page.
  • Use performance trends to anticipate challenges and adjust strategy proactively, so the team is rarely surprised by where they stand.

What we are looking for

  • 3 to 5 years of experience leading a BDR team, ideally in a SaaS or subscription-based environment.
  • Familiarity with healthcare or healthcare compliance markets and a genuine understanding of the value a structured compliance program brings to the organizations that need one.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot, including CRM management and sequence-building, plus comfort with phone and outreach tooling.
  • A data-driven approach to decision-making: you use KPIs to understand how the team is performing and where to go next, not just to report upward.
  • Deep experience with outbound calling, objection handling, and value-based selling, and the coaching ability to teach those skills effectively to others.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Highly organized and results-oriented, with the discipline to keep a remote team focused and moving in a fast-paced environment.

What Compliancy Group offers

  • Competitive base salary plus performance bonus, at a company with strong market traction and real ambition for where it is going.
  • Meaningful investment in your growth from day one, with structured onboarding and ongoing development.
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and generous PTO.
  • A fully remote role with the flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S. or Canada.
  • A transparent, collaborative culture where people communicate openly, support each other, and take the work seriously.

Salary: $90,000-$95,000 USD (OTE $125,000-$130,000 USD)
