In this position you would be responsible for following up with prospective customers; working with new and existing customers to schedule and confirm appointments; and reminding customers of sales appointments for new and existing customers. You would report directly to the BDC Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required
  • Minimum 1 year of Automotive Service BDC experience (Preferred)
  • Minimum 3 year of previous customer service experience
  • Excellent telephone, writing and typing skills
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Must have a drive, passion and confidence to be successful
  • Professional appearance and work ethic a must
  • Bilingual, (Preferred but not necessary)
  • Ability to multitask in a demanding environment
  • Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Valid driver's license

Essential Duties, but not limited to:

  • Follow up with prospective customers in response to online inquiries from our website and other sources via outbound calls, texts and email.
  • Answer inbound sales calls and assist clients with all questions, and or connect them with appropriate department personnel.
  • Coordinate appointments for sales and internet sales departments and ensure clients are being helped promptly and information is provided accurately.
  • Maintain follow up in customer management system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
  • Continually learn about product updates, features, accessories, inventory and their benefits to the customer.
  • Realize that business is built on customer satisfaction and be devoted to guaranteeing satisfaction to our customers.
  • Establish personal goals that are consistent with the dealershipโ€™s standards of productivity and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures and processes.
  • Periodically may be asked to perform other duties as assigned to assist the sales department.
  • Maintains professional appearance.
