Job description

A St. Louis-based Engineering and Construction Services firm is hiring a Marketing/BD Coordinator to support proposal production, business development outreach, and day-to-day office coordination. The role blends RFP/RFQ response writing, marketing collateral updates in Adobe InDesign, and general administrative support. Ideal for a self-directed contributor who thrives in autonomous, multi-hat roles within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities – Marketing/BD Coordinator

  • Prepare and produce RFP, RFQ, and SOQ proposal responses for construction project pursuits using Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office.
  • Maintain and update marketing collateral, capabilities packages, project sheets, and resumes for ongoing business development efforts.
  • Coordinate professional project photography and manage image libraries for proposals, website, and social media use.
  • Research new business leads through online prospecting, networking groups, and industry associations; track activity in CRM.
  • Provide general administrative support including phone coverage, supply ordering, vendor management, and occasional trade show coordination.

Qualifications – Marketing/BD Coordinator

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, business development, or proposal coordination, preferably in construction, engineering, or AEC.
  • Working proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven attention to detail under deadline.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities independently with limited oversight.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Preferred Qualifications – Marketing & Proposal Coordinator

  • Experience responding to public sector RFPs, including SF-330 federal proposal format.
  • Familiarity with AEC-specific CRM platforms such as Cosential/Unanet, Deltek Vantagepoint, or similar.
  • Graphic design portfolio or working knowledge of brand standards and layout principles.
  • SMPS membership or Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) credential.
  • Prior experience supporting trade shows, social media content, or website updates in WordPress.

Physical Requirements – Marketing/BD Coordinator

  • On-site work in a St. Louis office during standard business hours.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
