What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Food and Beverage Supervisor (Bars) will be responsible for assisting in the day to day management of assigned Food & Beverage outlet.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Plans, supervises, and participates in the performance evaluation process for subordinate staff.

  • Ensures that service quality, expense control, and revenue generation are maintained at targeted levels.

  • Supervises outlet areas for cleanliness, proper set-up, opening and closing procedures, and to ensure that an appropriate level of supplies and materials is maintained.

  • Monitors food quality and presentation.

  • Participates in the updating, and facilitating of training programs for associates.

  • Participates in the hiring process for associates.

  • Participates in the development of weekly work schedules for the department.

  • Lead an informative pre-shift with the teams.

  • Monitor Forbes standards in the outlets.

  • Responsible for proper health & safety procedures within the outlet.

  • Ensure that department has adequate supplies based on current business level forecast.

  • Produces maintenance work orders and purchase orders or requisitions as necessary.

  • Performs related duties as required to manage in a proactive manner.

  • Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and associates, damage to our property or the property of others. Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency, and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.

What are we looking for?

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • At least two (2) years previous experience as a server

  • Prior leadership experience, preferred

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES

  • Food Handler Certification

  • TIPS Certification

  • ServSafe, preferred
