Overview

We are seeking a per diem, experienced neonatal nurse practitioner to join our team of highly experienced, board-certified neonatologists and NNPs at Piedmont Eastside Medical Center and Emory Decatur Hospital.


Responsibilities

 Piedmont Eastside Medical Center, Level III NICU (Snellville, GA)

    • Our unit is an 18 Bed Level-III NICU that cares for over 200 premature babies annually
    • NNPs work in-house 24/7. Responsibilities will include providing medical management of critically ill neonates and NBN care
    • Eastside Medical Center, a Piedmont facility, is a rapidly growing OB service line with over 1,000 deliveries a year 
    • The OB nursing team at Eastside has many years of practical, as well as in-service education, that maintains and updates their knowledge on mother/baby care
    • Eastside is a 310-bed multi-campus system that offers comprehensive medical and surgical programs, including cardiovascular, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, rehabilitation, behavioral health, bariatric and 24 hour emergency care

Emory Decatur Hospital, Level III NICU (Decatur, GA)

    • Our practice is a 42-bed, Level-III NICU with an average daily census of 27
    • NNPs are provide 24/hour in-house coverage
    • Subspecialty coverage is available.  
    • NICU support services include neonatal respiratory therapy, physical and occupational therapies and audiology services. 
    • In addition to the prestigious “Baby-Friendly” designation, Dekalb Medical Center (now Emory Decatur Hospital) was also awarded a 5-STAR Hospital Recognition from the Georgia Department of Public Health in 2015

Qualifications
  • Certified NNP with recent experience required
  • GA license required
