Night Shift (United States)

We are on the lookout for a full-time Acute Care RN to become part of our Surgery/Bariatric unit at our medical center. This role involves working full-time during the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.

• Implement the Nursing Process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Availability to work from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for three days a week.
• An Associate's Degree in Nursing is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Possession of a Georgia or Compact Nursing License, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and a minimum of two years of RN experience.

The RN Clinical Nurse plays a vital role in an interdisciplinary team, ensuring that patients, families, and significant others receive personalized, high-quality, and safe care. This role operates within a clinical environment managed by Nurse Managers and supported by our Shared Governance Model. The practice framework is guided by our Professional Practice Model, evidence-based practices, and research. RN competencies are derived from these models and are aligned with our organizational values.

All RN Clinical Nurses are expected to be licensed, knowledgeable, and adhere to the nursing practices outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act, implementing the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards established by the American Nurses Association. As part of the patient services team, you will advocate for the patient’s voice while adhering to system policies and supporting service excellence goals.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Minimum Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing or graduation from an accredited nursing program is required; a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Minimum Experience: Less than one year of experience is required; direct patient care experience is preferred.
• Licenses and Certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (Single State) required.
  • RN - Multi-state Compact required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
