• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions via telehealth, focusing on the emotional challenges clients encounter during their rehabilitation process.
• Perform thorough assessments to evaluate clients' relational dynamics and emotional states, leading to the formulation of personalized treatment plans that align mental health and rehabilitation goals.
• Implement family systems theory and therapeutic techniques to aid in effective communication, conflict resolution, and the development of coping strategies among clients and their families.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and medical professionals to ensure coordinated care and unified therapeutic objectives.
• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention, offering compassionate guidance during acute emotional challenges faced by clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client records, including treatment outlines and progress notes, in strict compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Educate clients and families on the emotional implications of the rehabilitation process, promoting coping mechanisms and strategies that strengthen familial relationships.
• Stay informed about advancements in marriage and family therapy as well as rehabilitation best practices, engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities.

This role primarily focuses on serving individuals and families within the community recovering from complex mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and other emotional hardships. Clients may be dealing with the aftermath of trauma, chronic psychological issues, or the adjustments that follow major life changes.

• Valid and current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
• Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related discipline.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling a nuanced understanding of client needs and fostering strong therapeutic alliances.
• A commitment to ethical practices and the utmost confidentiality in client interactions and documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a virtual, multidisciplinary team setting.

• Experience in a rehabilitation setting or working with clients in recovery is highly preferred, providing insights into their unique challenges.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
