Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, couple, family, and group counseling sessions through secure telehealth platforms, adapting techniques and modalities to match the client's needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that include measurable goals, regularly revising these plans to reflect client progress and emerging needs.
  • Provide empathetic support to clients facing emotional and behavioral challenges, employing interventions that encourage resilience and coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to client care, including case discussions and referrals when necessary.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay updated on the latest trends and evidence-based practices in counseling.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Baptist Behavioral Health Center serves a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various cultural backgrounds. Counselors will engage clients experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions. Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits
