This role is entirely remote, allowing counselors the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a balance between their professional and personal lives. Our telehealth platform facilitates seamless communication with clients and ensures that counselors can effectively engage with patients in a comfortable setting. This remote work arrangement also means less time commuting and more time focused on delivering the best possible care.

• Conduct individual, couple, family, and group counseling sessions through secure telehealth platforms, adapting techniques and modalities to match the client's needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that include measurable goals, regularly revising these plans to reflect client progress and emerging needs.
• Provide empathetic support to clients facing emotional and behavioral challenges, employing interventions that encourage resilience and coping strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to client care, including case discussions and referrals when necessary.
• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay updated on the latest trends and evidence-based practices in counseling.

The Baptist Behavioral Health Center serves a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various cultural backgrounds. Counselors will engage clients experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions. This dynamic therapeutic environment promotes cultural sensitivity and responsiveness, allowing counselors to develop a deep understanding of each client’s unique circumstances.

• A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to create rapport and maintain professional boundaries.
• A collaborative mindset and ability to contribute to a team-oriented work environment.
• Experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

• Previous experience providing telehealth services or counseling in a community health setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and narrative therapy.
• Experience with crisis intervention and understanding of trauma-informed care practices.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and availability. In addition to a rewarding salary, our benefits package includes:
