Overview

Henderson Memorial Baptist Church of Hopkinsville, KY is prayerfully seeking a full-time Senior Pastor who loves God with all his heart, soul and strength, has a passion for leading the lost to Christ and is gifted at teaching and preaching Biblical truth. A man who possesses organizational and leadership skills and a vision to lead our congregation in spiritual and numerical growth.

Location and Community

Hopkinsville is located in southwest Kentucky about an hour north of Nashville, Tennessee and south of Evansville, Indiana. Henderson Memorial is in central Hopkinsville, ideally situated to reach every social stratum of our community. Our congregation is multigenerational and our average worship attendance is 90 to 100 with a Sunday school attendance of 45 to 50.

Henderson Memorial is a member of the Kentucky Baptist Convention, Southern Baptist Convention and the Christian County Baptist Association.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a minimum of five years’ experience, be in doctrinal alignment with the Baptist Faith and Mission 2000, and support the ministry and witness of the Kentucky Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention as the primary means of involvement in international and North American missions.
