DESCRIPTION
We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Banquet Captain to join our management team. This key position also serves as Offsite Catering Manager and Restaurant Floor Manager, helping oversee dinner service and closing operations a few nights per week.

About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing all aspects of banquet and catering events, as well as ensuring smooth and professional restaurant operations. You'll work closely with our event clients, kitchen team, and front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service every time.
Key Responsibilities
Banquet & Catering Operations
  • Lead setup, service, and breakdown of all banquet and private events
  • Manage offsite catering logistics, including staffing, transportation, and setup
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and event coordinators to ensure flawless execution
  • Train and supervise event and catering staff
  • Maintain organization and quality standards for all catering operations

Restaurant Floor Management
  • Act as floor manager during dinner service several nights per week
  • Oversee staff performance and guest satisfaction
  • Ensure smooth restaurant operations, from service flow to closing duties
  • Uphold cleanliness, efficiency, and service excellence throughout shifts
  • Communicate with ownership and management to address operational needs

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in restaurant or banquet management
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and offsite events
