As a Business Analytics Consultant Senior within PNC's Consumer Data Solutions Analytics organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Tyson's Corner, VA; Cleveland, OH; Washington, DC.
Position Overview:
The Business Analytics Consultant is responsible for delivering data-driven insights and analytical solutions that support strategic business objectives and decision-making. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, analyze complex data, develop reporting solutions, and communicate actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, with expertise in SQL, Python, and Power BI.
Key Responsibilities:
Leverage analytical tools and methodologies to provide business and technical expertise in support of data-driven decision-making.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand business strategies, objectives, challenges, and reporting needs.
Consult business partners to design, develop, and implement analytical solutions that address business requirements.
Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities.
Determine the most effective analytical approach and execute best practices related to solution development, validation, testing, implementation, and ongoing enhancements.
Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI and other business intelligence tools.
Perform advanced data analysis utilizing SQL and Python to support business initiatives and strategic projects.
Validate data quality, accuracy, and consistency to ensure reliable reporting and insights.
Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business partners and senior leadership.
Present complex analytical results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate across business, technology, and operational teams to support enterprise initiatives and business outcomes.
Support ongoing monitoring and measurement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
Document business requirements, methodologies, and analytical processes.
Required Experience & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related analytical discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
Strong experience conducting business analytics and delivering actionable business insights.
Advanced SQL skills with demonstrated experience performing: Complex queries, Joins, Data manipulation, Data wrangling, and Data validation.
Strong Python programming and coding experience for: Data analysis, Data transformation, and Automation
Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Power BI.
Proven ability to analyze, validate, and transform large, complex datasets into meaningful business insights.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated presentation skills with the ability to communicate analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Banking, Financial Services, or Corporate Banking industry experience.
