Job description

Reporting to the Production Manager at our Indianapolis, IN bakery manufacturing plant, local producers of Marie Callendar pies, you will lead team members through the plant's process improvement opportunities and manage production team members to attain production and quality goals. You will identify problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolve issues. Ensure production resources including materials, equipment and human resources are available to maintain production schedules.

Second Shift approximate expected hours: Monday-Saturday, 2:30pm-12am with occasional Sunday's. 6-day work week.

How Will You Affect our Business?

  • Monitor production to ensure that quality, productivity, and cost standards are maintained.

  • Lead team in tracking and understanding goals, Gap Analysis, and creating action plans to address performance gaps.

  • Provide resources and training to employees to ensure that employees are performing job responsibilities.

  • Troubleshoot problems and implement corrective actions through root cause analysis.

  • Enforce plant rules, regulations and procedures.

  • Support plant and company safety programs, promoting a high level of awareness and adherence to defined employee safety requirements such as lock-out/tag-out, personal protective equipment and confined space entry.

Do You Have What It Takes?

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 3+ years supervisory experience.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of GMPs, plant equipment and safety

Physical Requirements

This role requires regular talking and hearing; frequent standing and walking; and occasional sitting, hand use, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, tasting, and smelling. The employee may occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, plus focus adjustment. The work environment may be noisy with varying hot and cold temperatures. Reasonable accommodation may be provided.

Compensation

Pay Range:$64,000-$95,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
