Job Title: Product Operations Analyst

FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Family: Research & Development

Department: Research & Development

Location: Corporate Office (Fort Wayne, IN)


JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the coordination, preparation, submission, approval, and implementation of company
products.


POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Coordinate and contribute to the product development, submission, approval, and implementation
    process.
  • Serve as a liaison between R&D staff, other departments, and committees on product
    development issues.
  • Understand the filing requirements and communicate and negotiate with regulatory authorities to
    ensure company compliance in the product approval and implementation process.
  • Train, coach, and assist R&D staff in the completion of their product development project work.
  • Complete other projects and reports as assigned..

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
List Degree Requirement, Years' Experience, and Certifications

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) year’s experience within the insurance industry.
  • Must have substantial knowledge of actuarial operations, rating, policy forms and endorsements.
  • Experience in leading teams or in managing staff is desired.
  • The CPCU designation is desired.
