Overview of the Role
Salesforce is seeking a high-caliber Manager to join our Product & Pricing Operations team, with a specialized focus on Technical Project Management and Data Analytics.
In this role, you will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives to ensure our Lead-to-Cash ecosystem is operationally ready and optimized through data-driven insights. You will collaborate with product managers to assess product readiness, provide solution guidance, and mitigate risks.
Responsibilities
Strategic Collaboration: Work with product, strategy, and finance stakeholders to design solution recommendations and detect operational gaps in delivering novel products.
Operational Excellence: Deeply understand Lead-to-Cash operations to design and document scalable new processes, assist with release management, and produce comprehensive process documentation.
Data & Insights: Build reports and analyze large datasets to optimize system performance and drive informed decision-making.
Project Leadership: Act as a self-directed, team-oriented leader capable of translating the needs of technical and business users into successful project outcomes.
Stakeholder Management: Gain cross-functional agreement on business requirements, track project milestones, and communicate status and needs effectively to leadership.
Core Systems: Strong functional knowledge of Salesforce CRM and CPQ, including product and price book management.
Data Analytics: Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, macros) and a demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets to identify patterns and troubleshoot configurations.
Lead-to-Cash: 5+ years of experience in complex business environments, with a preference for Quote-to-Cash or New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
AI & Automation: Practical understanding of how Generative AI or Predictive Analytics (e.g., Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce) can be applied to streamline business operations and reporting.
Methodology: Proven experience applying project management frameworks (PMP or PRINCE2 preferred) to drive projects with full autonomy.
Release Management: Experience staging and deploying configuration data, troubleshooting release blockers, and managing production incidents.
Process Design: Ability to design scalable "future-state" processes that improve system stability and cross-functional reporting.
Communication: Effective written and verbal skills with the ability to present technical findings to executives for strategic decision-making.
Problem Solving: A self-starter who thrives on resolving complex problems and considering downstream impacts.
Team Orientation: A collaborative attitude focused on empowerment and achieving results within cross-functional teams.
