James Beard award winning - b.Patisserie, at Kona Coffee Purveyors, is seeking a skilled and dedicated baker to join our bakery team. As part of our bakery, you'll work with high-quality ingredients and contribute to a positive and collaborative environment. We are looking for someone with experience in the kitchen, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage their time efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of baked goods, ensuring consistency and quality in all products
  • Work cohesively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to meet customer expectations
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all food safety guidelines
  • Be available to work on weekends and holidays as needed
  • Lift and carry up to 50-pound bags of flour and sugar, and be able to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)

Qualifications:

  • Previous baking experience not required but preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Knowledge of basic kitchen conversions
  • Efficient time management skills to meet production goals
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for long hours
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Must be available to work weekends and/or holidays
