Job description

The Sponsor requires web design services. The Contractor shall research, design, build, monitor, and enhance websites in various frameworks, with an emphasis on backend security and encryption. The work will be performed independently as part of a larger team effort in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
  • Research, design, build, monitor, and enhance websites in various frameworks including WordPress, GoDaddy's website builder, Joomla, Wix, Express.js, Next.js, or similar
  • Work with Sponsor to identify, develop, and produce content using CSS, JS, PHP, and similar
  • Implement modem encryption algorithms to mitigate website vulnerabilities and harden website and cloud environment security
  • Perform basic review of web traffic or logs and ensure website analytic capability
Requirements
  • TS/SCI FSP Clearance
  • Demonstrated experience with web design and general principles of the Internet
  • Demonstrated experience with WordPress to include setting up a basic hosting environment, installing WordPress, building a WordPress site, and adding additional functionality to the site via commercially-available plugins
  • Demonstrated experience in writing copy for websites and blogs and the ability to adapt and create content for websites of various topics or industries
  • Demonstrated experience using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, and PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor web programming language)
  • Demonstrated experience mitigating website vulnerabilities and hardening website and cloud environment security
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing modem encryption algorithms into software applications
  • Demonstrated experience understanding and conveying technical concepts and language to a nontechnical audience, via website content development or through briefings or print material
Desired Skills
  • Demonstrated experience with other web development frameworks including GoDaddy's website builder, Joomla, Wix, Express.js, Next.js, or other similar platforms
  • Demonstrated experience of website penetration testing and "red teaming"
  • Demonstrated experience with other common industry tools, such as email marketing platforms, social media marketing/management tools, website analytics, and other industry trends
