Description

LT Consulting is seeking a Backend Web Developer with an active TS/SCI polygraph clearance to design and build secure, high-performance APIs and backend services supporting mission-focused applications. As a Backend Developer, you'll work across the full scope of backend services, developing scalable microservices, managing data persistence layers, and automating integration processes using cloud-native architectures.

Basic Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • Demonstrated professional experience developing backend systems and APIs

  • Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot, Node and Express, Python with Flask or Django, or similar backend stacks

  • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and integrating with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle)

  • Familiarity with authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect

  • Experience with build automation tools and dependency management (Gradle, Maven, NPM, or Pip)

  • Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows (branching, merging, pull requests)

  • Experience working in Agile environments using JIRA and Confluence

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, Lambda, etc.)

  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
