The Omni Web Developer will be responsible for the development, testing and maintenance of new and existing internal and customer-facing web applications, systems, and reports. They will update new/current applications and work with colleagues to brainstorm innovative ideas for new applications and systems. They will work closely with the e-commerce team, as well as store operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing, coding, testing and maintaining new & existing front-end and back-end web systems.
  • Design and develop web apps from scratch.
  • Collaborate with Ecommerce, Commercial Accounts, Marketing and Creative departments to identify and plan for new features.
  • Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions.
  • Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices for web development.
  • Communicate with users to understand their needs and experiences.
  • Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
  • Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
  • Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
  • 2-4 years of experience in web development or software development.
  • Familiarity with OOP design principles and the software development life cycle.
  • 2-4 years of experience programming in Salesforce Commerce Cloud environment.
  • Strong experience with REST APIs and JSON data.
  • Experience using git version control.
  • Experience with e-commerce.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems.
  • Experience with Commerce Cloud and other Salesforce products.
  • Experience with Shopify development.
  • Strong understanding of web development technologies with some experience in any of the following: C# (.NET Core or later), PHP, Angular, React, Amazon Web Services, MS Azure, Google Cloud.
  • Experience with SOX & PCI compliance standards.
  • Experience with ADA compliance standards.
  • Experience with mobile app development (react-native).
  • Experienced in web design and design tools: Photoshop, Figma, Illustrator.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience with AI tools and technologies.
  • Experience with JIRA or other ticketing systems or project tracking tools.
