Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our Avon office. This position requires experience in both front-office and back-office medical assisting. Key ResponsibilitiesFront Office Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and manage check-in and check-out processes.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate provider calendars.
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently.
  • Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and registration details.
  • Collect co-pays, deductibles, and self-pay balances.
  • Assist with daily cash reconciliation and payment processing.
  • Prepare and organize patient paperwork and office documentation.

Back Office Responsibilities
  • Room patients and obtain vital signs, including blood pressure, height, weight, and pain scores.
