Job description

The Human Resources Administrator role will be responsible for coordinating, maintaining, and supporting HR operations, including employee records, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance documentation. In addition, this role will partner with highly skilled professionals across the business to ensure accurate HR processes, respond to employee inquiries, and support ongoing HR initiatives. This candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about delivering a positive employee experience. In addition, the person in this role will have the mentality to think like a business owner and take a proactive yet collaborative approach to accomplishing organizational goals. This position reports directly to the Human Resources Manager or Director of Human Resources.
Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain personnel records
  • Update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave)
  • Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
  • Revise company policies
  • Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates )
  • Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
  • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules
  • Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms
  • Participate in HR projects (e.g. help organize a job fair event)
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or relevant role
  • Experiences with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS
  • Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
  • Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
  • BS in Human Resources or relevant field
