Job Title: Azure Integration Architect [Job Code: 260727] Job Description: Integration Architecture & Design
  • Design and own the end-to-end integration architecture across Fleet Manager (Azure), Salesforce (Enfin), OEM APIs, AWS S3, Amazon Connect, a proprietary Simulation Engine, and a Data Lake.
  • Define the integration pattern strategy — event-driven (webhooks, Azure Event Grid / Service Bus) vs. request-response (REST APIs) — across all six core integration points.
  • Architect the bidirectional real-time sync between Fleet Manager and Salesforce: alert propagation, case status sync and As-Maintained asset record updates with <1 minute latency.
  • Design the OEM API orchestration layer handling telemetry ingestion, alert ingestion, module-level production data, remote control command responses, and kill code detection across SolarEdge, Enphase, Tesla, Q Home Gen 3, and other OEM types.
  • Establish API gateway strategy for OEM API authentication, rate limiting, versioning, credential rotation, and failover.
Azure Platform Engineering
  • Lead Fleet Manager portal enhancements on Azure — real-time RAG health monitoring, metadata digital twin automation, and asset performance dashboards at 500K+ asset scale.
  • Select and design Azure-native integration services: Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Functions and Azure Data Lake for data ingestion and storage tiers.
  • Architect the data segregation strategy: granular telemetry in Data Lake, aggregated/monthly production data in Salesforce only — mitigating the documented risk of Salesforce data volume failures.
  • Design the proprietary Simulation Engine as a standalone Azure API service consuming weather-corrected irradiance data at ≥10km grid resolution, integrated with Fleet Management Portal on a configurable call schedule.
  • Enforce US-based data residency across all Azure and AWS components with no cross-border data transfer.
Salesforce Integration
  • Define and govern the Fleet Manager Salesforce integration contract: API versioning, OAuth 2.0 scoping, idempotency, retry logic and error handling patterns.
  • Architect the end-to-end automated workflow: OEM Alert → Fleet Manager → Salesforce Case → Work Order → FSP Dispatch → Closure — fully event-driven with no manual hand-offs.
  • Design Salesforce Platform Events / Change Data Capture for outbound Salesforce → Data Lake sync (append-only, one-directional).
  • Integrate Amazon Connect for inbound/outbound call logging, two-way SMS capture tied to case and WO records, and case-triggered customer notifications.
Governance & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Produce and maintain integration architecture documentation: API contracts, data flow diagrams, integration runbooks, and security architecture artefacts.
  • Define and enforce API versioning standards and change management processes for OEM API upgrades and deprecations.
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce Architect, Fleet Ops, Customer Care, Finance, and QSS SME teams through Discovery, build, UAT and go-live phases.
  • Contribute to RFP vendor evaluation by scoring technical approaches against integration design quality, scalability, and risk criteria.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 8+ years of enterprise integration and solution architecture experience, with at least 5 years focused on Microsoft Azure.
  • Proven track record delivering complex, multi-system integrations in energy, IoT, utilities, or field service domains.
  • Hands‑on experience integrating Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Field Service Lightning) with Azure‑based backend systems.
  • Experience architecting event‑driven systems using Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, or equivalent message broker technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with OEM or IoT API integrations — device telemetry, remote command dispatch, and alert ingestion patterns.
Technical Skills
  • Azure: Azure Integration Services, API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, Data Lake, Key Vault, Entra ID, Azure Monitor
  • AWS: S3 (RBAC, presigned URLs, bucket policies), Amazon Connect, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch
  • Integration Patterns: REST API design, OAuth 2.0, webhook architecture, idempotency, retry/backoff, event sourcing, CQRS
  • Salesforce: Platform Events, Change Data Capture, REST/Bulk API, Salesforce Connect, Named Credentials
  • Security: SAML 2.0, OIDC, TLS 1.2+, AES-256, RBAC design, SOC 2 Type II, NIST CSF alignment
  • Data: Data Lake design, aggregation strategy, data quality frameworks, SQL/NoSQL
  • Tooling: Postman, Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform / ARM / Bicep for Infrastructure as Code
Certifications — Preferred
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Integration Services Specialty or Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect — Associate or Professional
  • Salesforce Certified Integration Architect or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect
