As an Account Manager within our Advanced Wound Management (AWM) team, you will play a critical role in improving patient outcomes by partnering with healthcare providers to deliver a comprehensive portfolio of wound care solutions. This includes advanced wound dressings, biologics, and other technologies designed to support healing across a variety of care settings.

This is a field-based sales role where you will drive territory growth, support clinical education, and build lasting partnerships with key stakeholders across acute and post-acute environments.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to achieve and exceed sales goals

  • Promote the full Advanced Wound Management portfolio, addressing a wide range of wound care needs across patient populations

  • Educate clinicians and healthcare staff on the clinical and economic value of Smith+Nephew solutions

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including clinicians, nursing staff, and purchasing stakeholders

  • Identify new business opportunities and drive product adoption within existing and new accounts

  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to support account growth and customer satisfaction

  • Deliver in-services, product demonstrations, and educational programs to support best practices in wound care

All field sales professionals that are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities to perform the basic remit of their role, must successfully complete our credentialing process, which often includes COVID 19 vaccine management.

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 USD annually. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. In addition to base compensation, this position is eligible for sales commission and incentives based on set targets. The commission earned will depend on the candidate's performance in the role. We provide competitive bonus and benefits, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k, tuition reimbursement, medical leave programs, parental leave, and generous PTO, paid company holidays annually and 8 hours of Volunteer time and a variety of wellness offerings such as EAP.
