Key responsibilities

  • Operate print room equipment such as digital printers, laminators, binders, inserters, envelope printers, and cutters to produce printed materials.

  • Assist in maintaining records on machines, perform simple repairs, and ensure equipment remains operational to complete print projects promptly.

  • Collaborate with the Print Coordinator Technician to manage workflow, prepare for meetings, and create or maintain Standard Operating Procedure documents.


Job description

Position Purpose:
The Print Operator will operate print room equipment and produce printed materials for Andrew Wommack Ministries. This position will report to and work closely with the Print Coordinator to ensure the timely completion of all print room projects.
Essential Duties:
  • Maintain Smartsheet orders as assigned by Print Coordinator Technician and Production Supervisor
  • Assist people assigned to them by the Print Coordinator Technician and Production Supervisor
  • Operate digital printers/copiers, laminators, binders, inserters, envelope printers, and cutters
  • Produce printed material, i.e., study guides, books, letters, etc., as directed by Print Coordinator Technician
  • Maintain records on machines and machine care
  • Strategically keep machines working simultaneously to get jobs done promptly
  • Work with the Print Coordinator Technician to make repairs and keep equipment operational
  • Learn the mechanics of equipment and how to make simple repairs to machines
  • Utilize Smartsheet for workflow
  • Prepare for and attend all regularly scheduled team meetings and other meetings upon request
  • Assist the Print Coordinator Technician in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedure documents for all printing processes and systems
  • Complete all other tasks as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to troubleshoot and think independently
  • High degree of mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack and hand truck
  • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
  • Must understand imposition and be proficient with computers
  • Ability to stand for several hours a day

Requirements:
  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Must sign the statement of Faith
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • A Charis Bible College Graduate is preferred
  • Must either be certified or have the ability to be certified in the operation of a forklift
  • Must have a clean driving record and be insurable to operate a company vehicle
  • Must pass all required checks

Experience:
  • Mechanical background preferred
  • Prior printing and binding experience preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience
