This role offers a remote work setting, allowing counselors to provide services from the comfort of their own locations, thus promoting a healthy work-life balance. As part of our counseling team, you will engage with clients through telehealth sessions, utilizing advanced electronic health record systems like AVATAR to document progress and ensure continuity of care. Our clinicians benefit from ongoing support and resources to enhance their skills and adapt to the evolving landscape of mental health care.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and interviews to establish a solid understanding of clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment and recovery plans that encompass individual, couple, family, and group therapy interventions.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that encourage client engagement and promote positive mental health outcomes.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate clients’ progress toward their goals, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, medical doctors, social workers, and nurses, to create cohesive and comprehensive care plans.
• Follow up on hospital admissions and coordinate care with clients' healthcare providers to ensure a smooth transition and ongoing support.
• Assist family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges within their loved ones.

You will primarily work with diverse populations facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse issues, and various mental health disorders. Our clinic emphasizes an inclusive approach, ensuring that all clients, regardless of their background or circumstances, receive the highest quality of care and support.

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Hold current and valid licensure in the state of Texas as one of the following: LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• Successfully pass the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills necessary for effective client interactions and documentation.
• Demonstrate excellent clinical insight, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with clients.

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor with a proven track record of client success.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR.
• Experience working with clients who have co-occurring disorders or additional physical health conditions.
• Knowledge of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• Familiarity with psychotropic medications and their effects is highly advantageous.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience, and includes a sign-on bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package features:
