Job description

About the role

Aspire IT Systems is a technology solutions provider specializing in enterprise networking, network security, cloud infrastructure, and AV, broadcast & media integration. We work with enterprise, production, and media organizations to design and deliver high-performance environments that support collaboration, content creation, and modern media workflows.

We are looking for an aggressive, hunter-style Account Executive to drive net-new business across the United States. Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to create pipeline, build relationships, and close complex opportunities in AV, broadcast, media, and converged IT environments.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business across two solution areas: (1) IT infrastructure, enterprise networking, data center, cloud, and network security or (2) AV, broadcast, media, corporate production, live events, and enterprise collaboration; selling into enterprise as well as small and mid-size business accounts.
  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting, partner engagement, referrals, industry networking, and direct outreach.
  • Open new accounts and develop relationships across a broad customer base: enterprise and SMB IT buyers or broadcasters, AV integrators, production companies, venues, and media organizations.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from discovery and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Work with internal technical teams and vendor partners to position integrated solutions spanning enterprise and SMB networking, data center and cloud infrastructure, secure access, wireless, switching or AV-over-IP, and media infrastructure.
  • Match the right solution to each account's size and needs, from single-site SMB deployments to complex multi-site enterprise and media environments.
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline visibility, and sales forecasting.
  • Represent Aspire IT Systems at customer meetings, partner sessions, and targeted industry events to drive net-new opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • 5+ years in business development, account executive, or solution sales roles with quota-carrying responsibility.
  • Proven success generating net-new opportunities and closing complex solution sales.
  • Background selling in one or both of the core solution areas: IT infrastructure (enterprise/SMB networking, data center, cloud, network security) or AV, broadcast, media, and converged IT/AV solutions.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise and SMB networking, data center and cloud infrastructure, network security, switching, wireless, IP-based media transport, and AV-over-IP.
  • Working knowledge of relevant vendor ecosystems across both areas: networking, data center, cloud, and security platforms such as Cisco, Arista, Netgear, Fortinet, Palo Alto, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Ability to sell across account sizes, from transactional SMB deployments to complex multi-site enterprise and media environments.
  • Ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders with credibility and confidence.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable working in a remote, growth-focused sales role.

Compensation & benefits

  • Base salary: $90,000 – $110,000, set by experience.
  • On-target earnings: $220,000 – $260,000.
  • Uncapped commission with accelerators above 100% quota.
  • Medical insurance provided.
  • 401(k) with 3% employer contribution (of base salary) after one year of service.
  • Competitive paid vacation plus federal holidays.
