About the Role

Mills James is seeking a dynamic, full-time Audiovisual Technician to join our growing AV team. This role is responsible for the delivery, setup, operation, and strike of audiovisual equipment at live meetings and events. The AV Technician will ensure safe and timely installation, provide technical support during events, and maintain equipment to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily setup and strike of AV equipment for live shows, meetings, and events.
  • Pick up and deliver AV rental equipment as needed.
  • Perform warehouse operations, including: oChecking in and out audiovisual equipment.
  • Loading/unloading equipment into vehicles. oQuality control (QC) of equipment.
  • Performing basic maintenance (e.g., fixing cables, soldering connectors).
  • Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, following all safety guidelines.
  • Communicate equipment maintenance needs to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Collaborate on and complete projects from warehouse maintenance and project lists
  • Requirements
  • Professional appearance and attitude in a clientfocused environment.
  • Basic knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and computers for meeting and event purposes.
  • Excellent client service skills with strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle; ability to drive box trucks and cargo vans.
