Job description

Lumibuild is a commercial AV integrator headquartered in Emeryville, CA and we're looking to hire an experienced and energetic AV Installer. We are a young, fast-growing company and are looking for team members who are ambitious and want to grow with us! The roles are full-time and require travel around the Bay Area.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Mount projectors, motorized projector screens, displays, microphones, etc in various places and surfaces (walls, ceilings, metal, concrete, etc)
  • Work as part of a crew or independently with General Contractors
  • Proficiency with construction techniques and structured cabling
  • Able to wire/terminate low voltage, audio, and video cabling (Cat5, RG6, etc)
  • Ability to safely use hand/power tools
  • Ability to solder and crimp connectors
  • Commitment to work within specified deadlines and provide daily field updates
  • Excellent organizational skills and the desire to work for a professional and fun company
  • The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work and wants to develop a career in the commercial AV industry


Requirements
2+ Years of commercial AV installation experience
CTS certification is a plus
Familiarity with Extron, Crestron and various audio DSPs
Ability to read/interpret schematics and drawings
Work off of a ladder
Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and work within varied conditions some which may be small or confined
Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license
Flexibility to travel or work overtime as necessary
