Job Title: Senior Technician

Locations: Los Angeles (El Segundo)

Status: Full-Time | Hourly


What You'll Do

As a Senior Technician, you’ll serve as the on-site leader, ensuring installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You’ll act as the critical link between the field and operations teams, while providing guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.

Project Execution

  • Oversee day-to-day installation progress and field performance.
  • Coordinate, delegate, and adjust as needed to maintain project timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure clean, code-compliant, and fully tested system installations.

Team Leadership

  • Lead by example in professionalism, safety, and craftsmanship.
  • Mentor Apprentice and Level 2/3 Technicians with clear guidance and coaching.
  • Drive accountability for team time management and jobsite conduct.

Documentation & Efficiency

  • Review and approve work orders before daily submission.
  • Ensure accurate labor tracking, parts usage, and clear documentation.
  • Help the team hit labor utilization goals (85% billable target) and minimize unapproved OT.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Submit daily updates to Project Management.
  • Attend planning and production meetings when requested.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
