Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and passionate leader to join our team and manage the Audio-Visual Operations and Support team. In this role, you will lead our AV operations and support team in maintaining our audio-visual platforms, including conference rooms, collaboration spaces, and enterprise AV systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Facilities, Information Security, and Customer Experience teams and serve as the focal point for delivering audio-visual capabilities that enhance and support the business. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with hands-on technical experience, and a proven track record of developing complex technical systems. We are looking for someone who is motivated to lead, organized, and driven to deliver the best audio-visual solutions for our employees.
The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility in El Segundo, CA or Chantilly, VA.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Manage the delivery of all audio-visual capabilities that enhance and support the business
  • Plan and execute AV infrastructure upgrades, supporting the AV engineering team, including system upgrades, technology refreshes, software updates, and integration enhancements
  • Oversee the planning and execution of large corporate conferencing events
  • Manage vendor relationships with AV hardware and software vendors
  • Develop proactive strategies related to AV deployments that minimize end-user impact at an enterprise level
  • Implement and enforce AV security policies and best practices
  • Align key technical decisions with business objectives while remaining hands-on with delivering technical outcomes
  • Provide direct technical guidance and support to the team and other departments
  • Partner with other EIS functions, working closely with Facilities, Information Security, and Customer Experience Departments
  • Establish and enhance team processes identifying inefficiencies, risks, and ways to improve overall delivery
  • Mentor, guide and support audio-visual and media services team members toward a positive and collaborative environment
  • Participate in engineering architectural strategy, including technology standardization and modernization
  • Act as an ambassador and change agent to build a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensure audio-visual equipment and software operate in alignment with organizational needs and standards

What you Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirement for Audiovisual Operations and Support Manager:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of AV management or team leadership experience
  • 5+ years in AV or engineering roles with a focus on enterprise audio-visual systems
  • Strong knowledge of AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Cisco collaboration tools)
  • Experience with AV security practices and technologies
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience performing root cause analysis
  • Hands-on experience in building enterprise level AV infrastructure and systems
  • Proven experience coaching, providing direction, and motivating team members
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

  • Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI level clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance Experience developing and managing AV strategies, technical and product roadmaps, and leading teams to deliver new capabilities
  • Experience with video conferencing platforms and unified communications systems
  • Firm understanding of network architecture and AV-over-IP technologies to maintain system standards
  • Experience ensuring that service levels meet and/or exceed established standards
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in the development of operational procedures, processes, and automation scripts
  • Experience with integrating AV systems with business processes to optimize collaboration and productivity
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and DSP programming
  • Experience with Digital Signage and Enterprise Video Distribution
