AIR CONDITIONED SHOP! - 5 DAY WORK WEEK - MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY - 40 HOURS GUARANTEED + WEEKLY PERFORMANCE BONUS POTENTIAL
WE ARE SEEKING QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS TO JOIN OUR TEAM AS AUTOMOTIVE RECON TECHNICIANS THAT ARE CAPABLE OF TURNING 50+ FLAG HOURS A WEEK ON A CONSISTANT BASIS
What does an Automotive Recon Technician Do?
  • Mechanically inspect vehicles for safety and drivability while documenting findings.
  • Work includes bumper-to-bumper repairs and part replacements from light to medium mechanical repairs up to major engine / transmission internal repairs and replacement.
  • Maintain internal and external dealership image to provide a clean, crisp, and inviting environment for customers.
  • Test drive repaired vehicles to ensure that the problem has been completely fixed.
  • May require completion of work outdoors and under varying climate conditions.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years automotive repair experience
  • Must be proficient in the cooling, braking, charging, steering/suspension, AC and electrical system components.
  • Clean drivers's license
  • Automotive secondary school a positive
  • Automotive technical skills
  • Must have own tools
  • Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, welders, scanners and brake lathes correctly
  • The ability to drive both automatic and manual shift vehicle
  • Clarity of vision and hearing.
  • Be able to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Commitment to report to work on time and stay on task during shift
  • Desire to treat each vehicle with great care and respect
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to work as a team player and interact with customers, managers and coworkers in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
  • Position requires frequent movement; i.e. bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and getting into and out of various vehicles repeatedly during the work shift.
  • Frequent and continual flexing of spine, hands, wrists and fingers.
  • Work with and move numerous vehicles during the course of the working day.
  • Ability to quality inspect your work as well as that of other team members.
