FINN Partners is seeking a culturally connected, digitally savvy Account Executive or Assistant Account Executive to join our Los Angeles team. This role sits at the intersection of traditional public relations and influencer marketing, supporting integrated campaigns for entertainment, lifestyle, consumer, and brand clients.
The ideal candidate is equal parts media relations strategist and influencer marketer - someone who understands earned media, creator culture, social trends, and how storytelling translates across platforms. You're organized, proactive, collaborative, and excited to help execute campaigns that generate conversation both online and offline.
FINN Partners is seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Executive to join our Global Consumer practice in either Los Angeles or San Francisco. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and strategic thinker with experience supporting integrated public relations campaigns for consumer and lifestyle brands.
This role will support account teams in developing and executing media relations strategies, brand storytelling initiatives, influencer engagement and integrated communications programs that drive visibility, relevance and business impact for clients.
The Senior Account Executive will play an important role in client service, media outreach, content development and day-to-day account management while contributing to a collaborative and fast-paced agency environment.
What You'll Do
  • Support development and execution of strategic public relations campaigns for consumer and lifestyle clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, creators and industry stakeholders
  • Draft and edit press releases, pitches, media alerts, briefing materials, award submissions and client correspondence
  • Proactively identify media opportunities and secure earned coverage across consumer, lifestyle, food & wine, automotive, travel and culture verticals
  • Assist in planning and execution of press events, launches, experiential activations and partnership programs
  • Coordinate influencer and creator engagement initiatives
  • Monitor media coverage, industry trends and cultural conversations to identify timely storytelling opportunities
  • Manage project timelines, reporting, agendas and account deliverables with strong attention to detail
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute to strategic recommendations and program development
  • Mentor and support junior team members as needed
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with integrated marketing, social media and creative teams
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant public relations experience, preferably within an agency environment
  • Experience working with consumer, lifestyle, automotive, hospitality, wine & spirits or luxury brands preferred
  • Strong media relations skills with demonstrated success securing coverage
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong understanding of today's media and influencer landscape
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and media monitoring/reporting tools
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
