Brembo North America is seeking a Public Relations Senior Specialist in its Plymouth, Michigan location to increase awareness of Brembo, its products and technologies, by facilitating the best possible editorial coverage in mainstream and automotive media, including digital, print and broadcast.
Major duties and responsibilities
  • Communicates with journalists to drive awareness of Brembo and its products by demonstrating their unique advantages of compelling design, superior quality and technology.
  • Grows and maintains relationships with media contacts.
  • Develops PR plans, compelling content for press releases, product pitches, awards applications and company statement and quotes.
  • Coordinate press conferences and support corporate/brand events
  • Works closely with the global PR and Communications team.
  • Monitor and analyze PR campaign effectiveness, providing regular reports on media coverage and impact.
  • Manage external agencies and vendors to develop and execute world-class public relations campaigns.
  • Execute administrative duties as needed.

Basic qualifications
  • BA or BS degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or a related field. A Master's Degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in Public Relations or equivalent experience
  • Strong verbal, written communication skills and excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong earned media background
  • Proven ability to manage effectively multiple projects in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Accustomed to working within an international team.
  • Travelling (30%) is required.
