Malloy Ford in Charlottesville is seeking an experienced Automotive Inventory Manager to oversee our new and used car lot. This is a leadership role for individuals with previous Porter experience who would like to grow their career in the automotive industry.

Automotive Inventory Manager Compensation:

Automotive Inventory Manager Key Responsibilities:
  • Lot Porter / Lot Manager
  • Stock in and maintain clean, organized automotive lots (new & used inventory)
  • Park, align, and merchandise vehicles for optimal presentation
  • Move vehicles between sales, service, detail, and delivery areas
  • Fuel vehicles, install license plates, and assist with vehicle prep
  • Stage vehicles in the showroom and service drive
  • Perform daily lot inspections and report damage or issues
  • Track keys and assist with vehicle inventory management
  • Support sales team with vehicle readiness and presentation
  • Maintain a professional dealership appearance
Automotive Inventory Manager Work Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a lot porter preferred
  • Ability to commute to the address of our dealership.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
