Job description

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer with strong expertise in automotive electronic hardware design to join our engineering team.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in analog and digital circuit development, power management design, automotive communication interfaces, testing and PCB design.
  • This role requires a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to support hardware development throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automotive electronic hardware from concept through production.
  • Create and review analog and digital circuit designs.
  • Develop hardware solutions using microcontrollers, processors, memories, sensors, and peripheral interfaces.
  • Design power management circuits including DC-DC converters, LDOs, protection circuits, and power sequencing architectures.
  • Implement and validate automotive communication interfaces such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, SPI, IC, and UART.
  • Generate schematics and support PCB layout activities using tools such as PCAD and Dx Designer.
  • Perform circuit simulations and analyses using LTspice, PSpice, or equivalent tools.
  • Conduct hardware debugging, validation, and root-cause analysis using oscilloscopes and laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive EMC, ESD, transient protection, and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, systems, validation, and manufacturing engineering teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware design, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics design principles.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, processors, memory devices, sensors, and interface circuits.
  • Proven experience in power supply and power management circuit design.
  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols and associated physical layer designs.
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools such as PCAD and Dx Designer.
  • Expertise in circuit simulation tools including LTspice, PSpice, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and electronic test equipment.
  • Knowledge of automotive EMC/EMI, ESD, transient protection, and environmental qualification requirements.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within automotive product development processes.
  • Familiarity with automotive standards and design-for-reliability practices.
  • Experience supporting design validation and hardware qualification activities.
