Job Descriptio

nWe are seeking a Telematics Validation Engineer to join our automotive engineering team in Auburn Hills, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating telematics systems and connected vehicle features to ensure high-quality performance, reliability, and compliance with automotive standards

.Responsibilitie

  • sDevelop and execute validation plans, test cases, and test procedures for telematics and connected vehicle systems
  • .Validate features such as OTA updates, eCall, BCall, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, LTE/5G connectivity, and remote vehicle services
  • .Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing in both bench and vehicle environments
  • .Analyze CAN/LIN/Ethernet network traffic and identify root causes of system issues
  • .Execute test automation where applicable and document test results, defects, and validation reports
  • .Work closely with software, hardware, systems, and integration teams to resolve issues
  • .Support vehicle testing, issue triage, and release validation activities
  • .Ensure compliance with automotive quality and safety standards

.Required Qualification

  • sBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • .3+ years of experience in automotive telematics or connected vehicle validation
  • .Strong knowledge of CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, UDS diagnostics, and communication protocols
  • .Experience with telematics features including LTE/5G, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, OTA, and cloud connectivity
  • .Hands-on experience with Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, Wireshark, or similar automotive validation tools
  • .Familiarity with automotive testing methodologies, defect tracking tools (JIRA), and test management tools
  • .Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • .Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
