Job Summary:
Torc Robotics is a leader in autonomous driving technology, focused on developing software for automated trucks. The Software Engineer, II - Mission Control will build and support cloud-based applications critical for the operation of autonomous trucks, managing the full development lifecycle in a collaborative Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Developing web based applications using TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Python.
โ€ข Use cloud based services and features to bring our applications from local development to production intent environments.
โ€ข Execute the full software development lifecycle including requirements, design, coding, unit testing, integration, and automation.
โ€ข Collaborate cross-functionally in an Agile development environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field with 5+ years experience.
โ€ข Experience with modern web development languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
โ€ข Commitment to test-driven development patterns, continuous integration and delivery, and infrastructure as code
โ€ข Strong foundation in software engineering principles and object-oriented programming.
โ€ข Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good spatial reasoning.
