NOW HIRING: STRONG, DEPENDABLE TEAM MEMBER

Job Title: Automotive Battery Sales & Service Installation Technician

Position hours. 32 hours per week,( Four (8hr) days)- NO WEEKENDS!

Rate of Pay: $20-$24 hour to start (depending on experience).

Where: RI Battery Exchange, 133 Silver Spring St. Providence, RI 02904

RI Battery Exchange is hiring an Automotive Battery Sales & Service Installation Technician. The individual we are looking to hire will be loyal, honest and dependable and will become an asset to our dedicated team with our stable, growing local battery sales & service company.

· Loyal, honest, dedicated and punctual.

· Experienced in the automotive industry with hands on vehicle maintenance

· Able to work independently and part of a dedicated team

· Able to be professional and friendly while helping customers

· Able to safely lift 50-75lb batteries daily

What this job may include:

  • Assisting customers with battery selection and sales and vehicle installation.
  • Helping customers carry, load, unload batteries weighing 50-75lbs.
  • Battery and charging system testing.
  • Answering phones and providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service.
  • Managing and stocking inventory and keeping the shop clean and organized.
  • Being a reliable part of a growing team.
  • Showing up on time and ready, willing and able to work.

Qualifications needed to be considered:

  • Mechanically inclined with retail, automotive, battery, and hands-on experience with installations
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work independently and part of a team.

Physical requirement:
Candidate must also be able to handle the demands of a hands-on battery sales and service installation environment. Must be able to regularly and safely lift, carry, move, load, unload and install batteries weighing 50 to 75 pounds on a regular daily basis.
