Location: Walnut Creek, CA
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (No Weekends)

Salary Range:

$35.00 – $50.00 per hour (based on experience, knowledge, and self-sufficiency)

Position Overview

We're seeking a motivated, experienced, and well-rounded A/B Level Automotive Technician with extensive experience working on Asian vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity to join a clean, organized, and professional shop environment where quality work and efficiency are appreciated and rewarded.

The ideal candidate is confident performing everything from routine maintenance and repair work to advanced diagnostics and major R&R (removal and replacement) jobs with minimal supervision.

What You'll Do

  • Perform thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards
  • Complete maintenance, repair, R&R, and advanced diagnostic work accurately and efficiently
  • Work primarily on:
    • Toyota
    • Lexus
    • Subaru
    • Mazda
    • Honda
    • Acura
    • Nissan
    • Infiniti

(Strong, demonstrable experience required)

  • Diagnose and repair domestic and European vehicles as needed
  • Utilize AllData and other technical resources to interpret and follow repair procedures
  • Accurately document findings and repair recommendations in our shop management system
  • Communicate clearly with the Service Advisor regarding vehicle condition and recommended repairs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Uphold high standards of workmanship, professionalism, and customer care

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing Asian vehicles (required)
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
  • Comprehensive set of tools appropriate for modern automotive repair
  • Strong working knowledge of diagnostic equipment and scan tools
  • ASE Certifications and/or California State Smog License (highly preferred)
  • Hybrid and EV system knowledge (strong plus)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Leadership mentality with a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
