Job description

Johnson Genesis of Cary has the exciting opportunity to expand its team with the addition of a Full-Time Automotive Lot / Inventory Specialist . We are seeking a friendly, goal-oriented individual with a positive attitude to fill this open position immediately!

Responsibilities Include (yet are not limited to) :

  • Keep the dealership lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by management and in accordance with dealership display standards;
  • Park vehicles in assigned area(s);
  • Maintain order on dealership lot to maximize space;
  • Catalog and store keys;
  • Tag vehicles as necessary;
  • Ensures that required forms/stickers have been completed and are properly displayed;
  • Verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice, such as spare tires and stereo equipment;
  • Inspect cars to detect damage;
  • Record description of damages and list any missing items on delivery receipt;
  • Assist the sales department and management as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Maintain excellent customer service skills;
  • Must be Detail Oriented and have effective verbal and listening communication skills:
  • Possess ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds with assistance;
  • Be able to work in various weather conditions;
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time;
  • Must be able to work 9am - 6pm Mon - Fri (one of those days off) and 8:30am - 5pm every Saturday.
