The IT Software Tester will primarily support ServiceNow platform testing for a custom development team, ensuring the quality, reliability, and accessibility of ServiceNow solutions. This role will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and stable ServiceNow solutions. The successful candidate will design, execute, and maintain automated and manual test scripts, with a strong emphasis on ServiceNow workflows, integrations, and customizations. The tester will also validate compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards. **Responsibilities:*** Analyze user stories and requirements to identify test scenarios and acceptance criteria.* Develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test scripts for ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations using Playwright.* Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing on ServiceNow modules and customizations.* Conduct Section 508 compliance testing using ANDI and Lighthouse to ensure ServiceNow solutions meet federal accessibility requirements.* Document and report defects, track issues through resolution, and communicate findings to the development team.* Collaborate with ServiceNow developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.* Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data specific to ServiceNow implementations.* Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.* Provide recommendations for process improvements and contribute to continuous quality assurance initiatives.**Qualifications:****Required:*** Active Secret clearance required* Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.* Minimum 7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.* Hands-on experience testing ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations.* Proficiency with Playwright for automation testing.* Experience conducting Section 508 compliance testing using ANDI and Lighthouse.* Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.* Experience with bug tracking and test management tools using Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO).**Desired:*** ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or other relevant ServiceNow certifications.* ISTQB or similar software testing certification.* Experience with API testing and performance testing tools.* Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.* Prior experience supporting federal or government clients.**Work Location:*** Client site in Arlington, VA.
