At Symbotic, we support some of the world's largest retail, wholesale, and food & beverage brands by reinventing the traditional warehouse with an end-to-end system, a fleet of fully autonomous robots, and AI-powered software. We are changing the way consumer goods move through the supply chain, and our teams support these services by increasing efficiency, speed, and flexibility.

Program overview
The Symbotic Site Operations SkillBridge Program is an authorized SkillBridge industry partner dedicated to supporting the successful transition of active-duty military personnel into civilian careers. This internship provides hands-on experience with the Symbotic system, training individuals on the roles required to run cutting-edge warehouse automation and robotics.

Our goal

This program is designed with a high probability of full-time employment upon successful completion. We aim to create a direct pathway to roles such as Maintenance Managers, Shift Managers, System Engineers, and General Managers at our sites across the U.S.

What you'll do

  • Gain exposure to a variety of operational roles through immersive, hands-on experience.

  • Receive technical training on the full operation of the Symbotic System.

  • Learn the maintenance processes for our proprietary system and fleet of autonomous robots.

  • Understand the professional relationship and service-level expectations between Symbotic and our on-site customers.

What you'll need (Eligibility)

  • Active Duty Status: Must be an active-duty Service member with at least 180 days of service remaining before separation or retirement.

  • Command Approval: Must obtain written approval from your first O-4 (or equivalent) in your chain of command to participate.

  • Performance: A record of success and leadership experience throughout your military service.

  • Skill Fit: Specific technical skills may be required for certain engineering or maintenance tracks and will be discussed during the interview process.

National Guard and Reserve members should contact their Education or Transition Office for specific eligibility requirements.

  • Non-Paid Internship: In accordance with DoD instruction, participants in this program will not receive compensation, benefits, or wages from Symbotic. You will continue to receive military pay and allowances from the Department of Defense.
