Who we are
With its A.I.-powered robotic technology platform, Symbotic is changing the way consumer goods move through the supply chain. Intelligent software orchestrates advanced robots in a high-density, end-to-end system - reinventing warehouse automation for increased efficiency, speed and flexibility.
What we need
Symbotic is seeking a Warranty Administrator responsible for end-to-end administration of warranty claims, including claim intake, validation, coordination with internal teams and suppliers, and claim closure. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective cross-functional communication, and the ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously while ensuring compliance with warranty policies and contractual agreements.
What we do
The Warranty Administrator is part of the Service Operations organization and supports warranty and post-system delivery service activities across customer sites. This role works cross-functionally with external customers and internal business functions, including Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Finance, and Customer Operations, to ensure timely claim resolution, accurate cost recovery, and consistent application of warranty policies and contractual obligations.
What you'll do
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for warranty-related inquiries from customers, providing clear information on claim requirements, status, and resolution.

  • Process warranty-related material requests, returns, and replacements accurately and efficiently, in accordance with approved warranty claims.

  • Administer warranty claims from initiation through resolution, including validating eligibility, coordinating repair or replacement actions, and maintaining warranty records.

  • Work closely with Supply Chain to coordinate warranty-related material returns, replacements, and credit recovery activities.

  • Coordinate warranty-related shipments and returns with Logistics providers, tracking deliveries and resolving issues related to approved warranty claims.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date warranty documentation and records within enterprise systems to support operational and financial reporting.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, including Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Finance, and Customer Operations, to support claim investigation and resolution.

  • Monitor and track warranty performance metrics, including claim aging and cycle time, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Support supplier warranty recovery activities by ensuring appropriate documentation and coordination with internal stakeholders.

  • Participate in training sessions to stay current on warranty processes, system updates, and post-system delivery service practices.

What you'll need
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field; technical field knowledge relevant to automated systems, equipment, or service operations is a plus, or equivalent relevant work experience.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a warranty administration, service operations, or related administrative role; experience with warranty claims, supplier coordination, or post-system delivery support is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP or service management platforms); experience with SAP or CRM tools is a plus.

  • Familiarity with supply chain, warranty, or inventory-related systems and processes is preferred.

  • A positive attitude with a strong sense of accountability and commitment to accurate, policy-driven execution.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Our Environment
