Job description

General Summary We are seeking a Senior Consultant with deep expertise in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) to support an onsite engagement in Dahlgren, VA, approximately 200 hours with potential for extension. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in infrastructure automation, configuration management, and working within secure government environments.

Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) Develop and manage Ansible playbooks, roles, and workflows to automate infrastructure and application processes Assess current environments and recommend automation strategies to improve efficiency and scalability Integrate AAP with existing enterprise tools, platforms, and DevOps pipelines Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues across systems and environments Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with mission objectives Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and best practices for automation adoption Requirements Active Secret clearance required Hands-on experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) Strong experience with Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows Background in Linux systems administration and/or infrastructure engineering Experience working in government or DoD environments preferred Ability to work onsite in Dahlgren, VA for the duration of the engagement Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a consulting capacity
