• Lead and coordinate software testing for changes delivered to utility clients
• Prepare test strategies and support project teams delivering new changes
• Advocate for QA best practices and lead automation initiatives
• Lead QA for high-visibility projects with multiple workstreams
• Coordinate testing with multiple vendors and manage test estimation, plans, status, results, risk, traceability, defects, and coverage
• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality standards
• Analyze complex technical and conceptual information and present understandable alternatives to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with PMO and Test Practice documentation, policies, and best practices
• Communicate project goals, targets, activities, and schedules to stakeholders
• Deliver daily and weekly testing status reports and identify risks across multiple projects
• Create and develop an automated testing framework
• Lead process-improvement initiatives and develop team members
• Define, develop, and deploy product QA strategy across all product-development phases
• Assess the viability, functionality, and effectiveness of test tools
• Define and implement test strategies for maximum test coverage
• Coordinate test environments for systems supporting project needs
• Create and execute test cases as needed
• Provide test coverage reports for each software release
• Report detailed defects

• 7 years of work experience in the electric utility industry
• 10 years of QA or equivalent work experience
• At least 4 years of QA Lead experience with implementation projects
• Experience with ADMS/OMS/SCADA/EMS vendor systems such as OSI Monarch, GE Reliance, GE GridOS, and Oracle NMS
• End-to-end QA experience throughout the Software Development Life Cycle, including waterfall and agile
• Hands-on knowledge of unit, integration, regression, UAT, performance, and automated testing
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or Systems Engineering, or experience in systems development and/or QA
• US citizen or permanent resident
• Five years of cyber security industry-related test development and new product development experience preferred
• Experience with SaaS QA supporting SOC 2 trust services principles preferred
• Experience with Testing Center of Excellence or Organizational Test Practice preferred
• Hands‑on experience with BlazeMeter or OctoPerf preferred
• Hands‑on experience with TcpDump or Network Monitor preferred
• Hands‑on experience with JIRA, JIRA Service Desk, and Confluence preferred
• Hands‑on experience with Linux operating systems and performance tuning preferred
• Hands‑on experience with Selenium and other QA automation tools preferred
• Experience with POC, acceptance, functional, regression, and smoke testing preferred
• Experience creating JMeter or LoadRunner performance scripts preferred
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery and integrating automated tests into pipelines preferred
• Experience with Bitbucket, Jira, source configuration management, and defect tracking systems preferred
• Experience writing scripts for defect lists and job execution preferred
• Experience defining capacity and service-level metrics such as response time, failover time, and time to recover preferred
• Experience building dashboards for system defects preferred
• Familiarity with microservices architecture preferred
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases preferred
• Strong knowledge of server logfiles and tools such as Splunk, Sumo Logic, and AWS preferred

Demonstrates extensive experience in leading QA processes and automation initiatives within the electric utility industry, ensuring compliance with best practices and delivering high-quality software solutions. Proficient in managing complex testing environments and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
