Job description

Production Extruder Operator – Night Shift

Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced Production Extruder Operator in Houston, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with extrusion, blow molding, or plastics manufacturing experience who are looking to join a stable and growing company.
 
Pay Rate:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule:
 Monday – Friday
 4:30 pm – 12:30 am (Training will be in the morning)
 Overtime and weekends may be required based on production needs.

Production Extruder Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate extrusion and blow mold machinery to meet daily production goals.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality.
• Perform product quality inspections and document results accurately.
• Complete color and material changeovers according to production schedules.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, process, and quality issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform minor preventative maintenance and basic machine repairs.
• Maintain production records and enter data into company systems.

Extrusion/Blow Mold Operator Qualifications and Requirements
• Minimum of 3 year recent experience operating extrusion, blow mold, or plastics manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Must be able to safely work around manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Ability to train on a day shift prior to transitioning to nights.
