Job description

Cherry Picker Operator
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled Cherry Picker Operator to support daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating elevated order (cherry) pickers, using RF scanners, and handling inventory through computer-based systems. Cherry pickers are essential for retrieving items from highlevel shelving and maintaining efficient warehouse flow. This position is located in the zip code 77038.

Pay Rate
$18.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. (sometimes OT available as well)

Cherry Picker Operator Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate Cherry Picker and Big Joe forklift equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Use RF scanners to locate, track, and update inventory.
  • Navigate warehouse management systems and perform basic computer data entry.
  • Pull, stage, and organize orders from elevated racking.
  • Assist with loading/unloading and general warehouse duties as needed.(40-60lbs)
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Chery Picker Operator Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience operating a cherry picker or elevated order picker equipment.
  • Familiarity with Big Joe forklifts or similar warehouse lift equipment.
  • Ability to use RF scanners for inventory tasks.
  • Basic computer proficiency (inventory systems, data entry).
  • Ability to lift 40–60 lbs as needed (common in similar roles). 
  • Background check and drug screening required
