As of Jun 25, 2026, the average yearly pay for automation government in the United States is $116,607.00, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $91,500.00 and $139,000.00 per year, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What jobs pay $2000 a day?

In the field of automation government, high-paying roles such as senior automation engineers, cybersecurity specialists, or government technology consultants can earn around $2,000 per day, especially with specialized skills, security clearances, and extensive experience. These positions often require advanced certifications, knowledge of automation tools, and the ability to work in secure government environments.

What are typical daily responsibilities for someone in an Automation Government position?

In an Automation Government role, your daily responsibilities may include analyzing existing government processes, designing and implementing automation solutions, and collaborating with both IT teams and departmental stakeholders to ensure smooth integration. You will often monitor automated systems for compliance and efficiency, resolve technical issues, and prepare documentation or reports for leadership. The position may also require ongoing training and support for end-users to maximize the impact of automation technologies. This role offers a balance of technical problem solving and cross-functional teamwork in a dynamic government environment.

Is AI taking over government jobs?

Automation government roles involve using AI and technology to improve public services and administrative processes. While AI can automate routine tasks, many government jobs still require human judgment, oversight, and interpersonal skills, so AI is more likely to augment rather than fully replace these roles.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Automation Government position, and why are they important?

To thrive in an Automation Government role, you need expertise in process automation, project management, and a deep understanding of public sector regulations, often supported by a relevant degree in engineering, IT, or public administration. Familiarity with automation platforms like UiPath or Blue Prism, along with certifications such as CAP (Certified Automation Professional), is common. Strong analytical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills are essential for working across departments and implementing automation initiatives seamlessly. These abilities ensure that automation projects comply with government standards, improve service delivery, and advance organizational goals efficiently.

Which 3 jobs will survive AI?

Automation government roles related to policy development, regulatory oversight, and cybersecurity are likely to persist as they require complex judgment, ethical considerations, and human oversight. Jobs involving strategic decision-making, creative problem-solving, and interpersonal communication are less susceptible to automation. Skills in critical thinking, understanding legal frameworks, and managing AI systems will remain valuable in these fields.

What is an Automation Government job?

An Automation Government job involves developing, implementing, and managing automated systems to improve efficiency in government operations. This can include process automation, data management, and AI-driven solutions to streamline public services. Professionals in this field work with various agencies to enhance productivity, reduce manual tasks, and improve accuracy. They may also ensure compliance with regulations while leveraging technology to optimize workflows. Roles can range from policy development to technical engineering and IT management.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

In the field of automation government or related roles, high-paying positions such as automation engineers, cybersecurity specialists, or systems analysts can earn $10,000 or more monthly, often requiring strong technical skills, certifications, and experience rather than a formal degree. These roles typically involve working with automation tools, scripting, and security protocols in government or private sectors.

Reporting to the Director, Process Automation & Application Delivery, this role owns end-to-end automation delivery across design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support. The focus is primarily on UiPath, with strong expectations around hands-on development, engineering discipline, reusable components, and production-ready solutions.

The Senior UiPath Developer partners with business analysts, infrastructure teams, security teams, and application owners to deliver reliable automation solutions. The role requires a strong understanding of the UiPath platform, including Orchestrator concepts, unattended runtime environments, secure credential access, and AI-enabled automation opportunities such as AWS Bedrock integrations.

Main Accountabilities:

  • End-to-End UiPath Delivery
    • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support automation solutions using UiPath Studio and enterprise patterns such as REFramework or equivalent.
    • Translate process requirements into scalable solutions with strong exception handling, logging, retry strategies, and maintainable code.
    • Own quality across the delivery lifecycle, including testing, deployment readiness, defect resolution, and production support.
  • Platform and Operational Support
    • Work with UiPath Orchestrator capabilities including assets, queues, robots, triggers, schedules, monitoring, and environment promotion.
    • Apply a strong understanding of tenants, folders, role-based access, and runtime configuration to support secure and scalable delivery.
    • Support bot stability through monitoring, troubleshooting, incident triage, and continuous improvement.
  • Environment, Security, and Integration
    • Partner with infrastructure teams to ensure virtual machines and runtime environments are ready for unattended automation.
    • Support secure credential and privileged access patterns, including approved enterprise tools such as BeyondTrust or similar platforms.
    • Build integrations across APIs, databases, enterprise applications, and AI-enabled services such as AWS Bedrock where relevant.
  • Technical Leadership and Best Practices
    • Promote best practices including modular design, code reviews, reusable components, documentation, and release discipline.
    • Guide developers and contribute to solution design decisions while remaining hands-on in delivery.
    • Collaborate with business analysts, security teams, architects, and application owners to deliver practical, scalable solutions.

Core Competencies:

  • Deep hands-on UiPath development expertise, including workflow design, selectors, exception handling, logging, and reusable automation patterns.
  • Strong understanding of UiPath platform concepts including Orchestrator, tenants, folders, assets, queues, robots, triggers, and role-based access.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across automation code, runtime environments, credential access, and infrastructure dependencies.
  • Ability to guide developers, influence solution quality, and contribute to design decisions while staying hands-on.
  • Commitment to secure development, documentation quality, and enterprise best practices.

Education, Experience & Technical Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of hands-on enterprise automation experience, with strong UiPath expertise.
  • Strong experience delivering automations end to end across design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support.
  • Experience with UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, unattended automation, queues, assets, schedules, deployment, and bot support in enterprise environments.
  • Experience applying best practices such as modular design, source control, peer reviews, reusable components, and supportable exception handling.
  • Experience with virtual machines or hosted runtime environments for automation execution.
  • Familiarity with secure credential and privileged access patterns, including BeyondTrust or similar tools.
  • Experience with ICR, document understanding, or AI-assisted workflows is preferred.
  • Exposure to AWS services, including Amazon Bedrock, is preferred.
