​Software Engineer II RPA, Arizona, Texas, Atlanta, Charlotte

We are looking for a hands-on Software Engineer II to join our Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team. The ideal candidate should have the skills and experience to deliver RPA solutions to provide cost savings and business value to the Bank. They must have the ability to navigate differing levels of gray/unknowns and have excellent communication skills. They must be able to move at a rapid rate of execution to deliver requests and take advantage of any opportunities as they present themselves. They must have both the short- and long-term strategic view when deciding on the best technical approach to deliver the automated solution.  They must be able to develop RPA solutions and partner together with distributed development, QA and product team members.  

As a Software Engineer II with strong RPA development experience, you will be responsible for building and deploying bots to support the Bank. The Software Engineer II will be responsible for all software aspects within the team including analysis/feasibility, design, development, assistance with testing and assistance (if required) with troubleshooting production issues.

 

Responsibilities

    • Responsible for designing, developing, testing and implementing RPA solutions
    • Responsible for creating technical documentation required for automation development
    • Participate in technical reviews to ensure the highest level of process design and process understanding prior to automation development
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the solutions
    • Partner with application support team for bot deployments and bot troubleshooting
    • Partner with business team and product team to under the needs in order to design and develop an RPA solution
    • Support the launch and implementation of RPA processes
    • Troubleshoot production issues outside of work hours
    • Creating, updating, and maintaining Developer Standards around RPA best practices
    • Investigating and documenting better practices/alternative solutions that could be use in future development

Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field and 4+ years of experience
    • Experience working with Robotic Process Automation technologies, specifically Automation Anywhere v11 or higher
    • Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA professional certification  
    • Experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, Javascript
    • Experience working on Agile projects and has complete knowledge of day-to-day Agile routines
    • Experience with Databases (SQL or NoSQL)
    • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to take initiative without always being directed
